Gokul, Nandgaon, Barsana — the villages of Krishna's childhood, beyond the usual Mathura–Vrindavan circuit. Tell us the Braj places you want to cover and we'll plan the route, with one fixed fare on WhatsApp.
Gokul: roughly 65–75 km from Agra, about 1.5–2 hours, just beyond Mathura
Nandgaon: roughly 100–110 km from Agra via Mathura, near Barsana
Trip type: flexible full-day Braj Yatra — combine Gokul, Nandgaon, Barsana, Mathura, and Vrindavan as you wish
Taxi fare: depends on the places you cover — one fixed fare confirmed on WhatsApp
Ready-made alternative: our popular Mathura, Vrindavan & Barsana full-day tour at ₹3,500
How to book: call or WhatsApp +91 87200 81102 with the Braj places you want to cover
Every Braj Yatra combination is priced differently depending on which towns you cover — Gokul alone is a shorter day than a full Gokul–Nandgaon–Barsana arc. We don't publish a one-size-fits-all fare for this route; message us your places and travel date on WhatsApp, and we'll quote one clear, fixed fare with tolls and parking explained upfront. Sedan, Ertiga, Innova Crysta, and Tempo Traveller options are available.
All Braj towns are reached via the Agra–Mathura highway. Gokul lies just southeast of Mathura across the Yamuna, about 1.5–2 hours from Agra. Nandgaon and Barsana sit further north-west of Mathura, roughly another hour beyond — the three villages form a natural arc that a private cab covers comfortably in a day, something very hard to do by public transport.
We pick up from any Agra address — hotel, home, Agra Cantt, or Kheria Airport.
The village where Lord Krishna spent his infancy with Nanda Baba and Yashoda after his birth in Mathura. Key spots include Nand Bhavan (Chaurasi Khamba) and the Yamuna ghats.
Nanda Baba's hilltop village, crowned by the Nand Bhavan temple with sweeping views over Braj. Expect some stairs to the temple — the driver drops you at the closest permitted point.
Radha Rani's village and its famous hilltop Shriji Temple — pairs naturally with Nandgaon, which sits just a few kilometres away.
Krishna Janmabhoomi and Dwarkadhish Temple — easy to include since every Braj route passes through Mathura.
Banke Bihari, Prem Mandir, ISKCON — add it if your day allows, or keep it for a separate unhurried visit.

Yes, with an early start. Gokul, Nandgaon and Barsana sit in a rough arc around Mathura, and a full day covers them comfortably. Adding Mathura or Vrindavan temples on top makes it a long day — we'll suggest a realistic sequence for your date.
Gokul is where Lord Krishna spent his infancy with Nanda Baba and Yashoda after his birth in Mathura, and Nandgaon is the hilltop village of Nanda Baba with the Nand Bhavan temple. Together with Barsana (Radha Rani's village), they complete the inner circle of the Braj Yatra.
If you want the popular ready-made day tour, our Mathura, Vrindavan & Barsana package at ₹3,500 is the simplest choice. This page is for travellers who specifically want Gokul, Nandgaon, or a custom Braj combination — tell us your places and we'll plan the route.
Yes. Braj temple towns involve some walking and a few stairs — notably at Nandgaon's hilltop temple — so we plan the pace around your group. The driver waits at every stop, and for elderly travellers we recommend the Innova Crysta.
